ANSE ROYALE 300

Was it predestination to end up in Anse Royale on Mahé Island in the Seychelles to shoot the summer campaign for Pequignet Manufacture? No better location could underline more the new Manufacture diver’s watches, perfect combinations between elegance, performance and technology. We shot and tested the divers range above and underwater, under a fierce sun soon replaced with heavy tropical downpours. The watches performed greatly in free diving and scuba diving conditions with an outside humidity level flirting with the 90%, real dedicated tools put to test by our 2 free diving models, Tabaré and Zohra. This watch is definitively among my top five divers.

The Royale 300 are the divers version of the famous 100% Made in France “Calibre Royal” movement that fits all watches in the Pequignet Manufacture range. They come with a power of reserve of 88 hrs and are certified for a depth of 300 meters. Quite a diver’s jewel/tool. This model which satisfies the highest requirements of a professional diver’s watch with, for instance, its unidirectional rotating bezel, is Vulcamix patented. It is equipped with a Luminova capsule at 12 o’clock and a 60-minute scale allowing divers to accurately calculate the decompression phase. The markers and hands coated in Luminova BGW9 ensuring optimal visibility, which is essential underwater.  Its 43 mm satin-polished steel case is available with three different bezels, orange, black or blue. We finished the shoot before a gigantic swell hit the western coast of Mahé, destroying and sinking some boats at their mooring, including the one belonging to our host. The Indian Ocean is always almighty… #pequignetmanufcture #divewatch #diving #freediving
